Delta's New Paris Route Will Make It The Only US Airline Flying From Austin To Europe
Delta will launch daily Austin to Paris flights in March 2027.
Delta Air Lines will begin daily nonstop service from Austin Bergstrom International Airport to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, starting March 27, 2027, using the Airbus A330-900neo.
The new route will make Delta the only US airline offering nonstop flights from Austin to Europe. Currently, Austin hosts international service to Europe only through non-US carriers and non-transatlantic routes; US competition on direct transatlantic service from AUS has not existed until now.
From Austin, the Paris service will complement existing European options in the market. Other carriers from the airport provide nonstop service to London, Amsterdam, and Frankfurt, but Delta’s new route adds a direct US-to-Europe connection to Paris for the first time.
When combined with KLM’s Amsterdam service as part of the Air France-KLM joint venture, Delta’s operation expands the available nonstop European options from Austin to up to ten weekly flights during peak summer periods.
The announcement notes the new service and aircraft type, highlighting the introduction of the A330-900neo on the route. No additional details on schedules, frequencies beyond daily operation, or impact on other routes were provided.
