Emirates will remove the Airbus A380 from its Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) route later this month. The decision ends the carrier’s superjumbo flights on this corridor with less than two weeks’ notice.

The airline currently operates three daily A380 services on the DXB–JED route, but the A380 has been withdrawn from all three daily flights. The change eliminates the A380 from the route for the entirety of the winter season.

Emirates has pulled the A380 from the DXB–JED corridor entirely for five months. The removal covers the entire route for the winter season, with no A380 services continuing on these flights during that period.

The news indicates the discontinuation applies to all three daily flights between DXB and JED, rather than a subset. No additional aircraft or schedule details beyond the A380 removal for the winter period are provided.
