FlyUs lands Air Canada Puerto Rico contract
FlyUs Aviation Group expands its global footprint with a new San Juan office, securing an Air Canada contract to manage pharmaceutical exports to Toronto.
FlyUs Aviation Group has opened a new office in San Juan, Puerto Rico, as part of a strategic expansion in the Americas. The move coincides with the company’s appointment to exclusively represent Air Canada in Puerto Rico, managing cargo operations between SJU and YYZ.
The arrangement will support three weekly Air Canada freighter flights operating directly between Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport. Shippers in Puerto Rico will connect to Air Canada’s global network through Toronto.
FlyUs highlights Puerto Rico’s prominence in bioscience and pharmaceutical manufacturing, emphasizing the need for temperature-controlled air cargo to support healthcare logistics and cold-chain shipments. The company notes its specialization in handling temperature-sensitive freight, including pharmaceuticals and perishables.
This Puerto Rico appointment extends FlyUs’ existing Air Canada representation in multiple markets worldwide, reinforcing an ongoing collaboration between the two entities. Air Canada expresses confidence in FlyUs to support uplift from Puerto Rico as part of its cargo offering.
With the new office, FlyUs now represents 24 airlines across 28 locations globally. Additional office openings are planned for late 2026 and into 2027 to address growing cargo demand, and FlyUs will participate in the Air Cargo Forum in Miami, October 26–29, 2026.
