Air India flight AI2030, en route from Frankfurt to Delhi, was diverted to Jaipur after a security alert triggered by a suspected hijack threat. The aircraft landed safely at Jaipur International Airport and was moved for security checks.

Air India stated that the aircraft landed in Jaipur following a perceived security concern, and that security agencies carried out the necessary checks before clearance. The flight subsequently departed Jaipur after the procedures were completed.

Authorities, including the Anti-Terrorism Squad, airport security, and local police, cordoned off the isolation bay at Jaipur for a thorough inspection. The National Security Guard was placed on standby in New Delhi in case its involvement became necessary.

The diversion and security actions were prompted by an emergency signal coded as 7500 received by Ahmedabad Air Traffic Control from the aircraft. The authorities indicated that the circumstances surrounding the alert remain under investigation.
