Boston Blue’s Donnie Wahlberg Breaks Silence After Private Plane Skids Off Runway at Las Vegas Airport

A private aircraft carrying Donnie Wahlberg skidded off the runway during departure at a Las Vegas airport, according to Us Weekly.

Wahlberg said in an Instagram post that the pilots saved their lives and that they were not getting airborne as the aircraft ran out of runway, noting they are safe and thankful.

The incident involved a general aviation plane that departed from Las Vegas and contacted the airport perimeter fence after veering off Runway 1L, per Harry Reid International Airport’s statement.

Eight people were on board, and the aircraft was en route to Toronto Pearson International Airport in Canada, with the pilot aborting the takeoff before the off-runway event occurred, according to the FAA.

Airport authorities reported that Runways 1R and 1L would be closed for inspection and that travelers could experience delays; there were no known injuries at the time. Wahlberg had shared video of the moment with loved ones before posting publicly.
