Dubai and Abu Dhabi are facing ongoing disruption as regional tensions influence flight schedules, with multiple carriers adjusting services to and within Saudi Arabia on October 21.

Flydubai has cancelled several Saudi routes, including services to Riyadh, Dammam and Abha, while Emirates lists cancellations on Dubai–Riyadh, Dubai–Dammam and Dubai–Jeddah services. Etihad Airways is canceling Abu Dhabi–Riyadh, Abu Dhabi–Dammam, and Abu Dhabi–Jeddah routes through October 24.

Etihad and Emirates also note that Tel Aviv codeshare operations remain suspended, and travelers should verify status with their respective airlines before travel. Air Arabia services from Abu Dhabi and Sharjah are affected on a number of regional and international routes.

At Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport, delays have been reported on selected arrivals, with some flights shown as delayed or cancelled on the airport’s live information board. Dubai International Airport’s board shows cancellations and delays across several carriers and destinations, including specific SpiceJet and IndiGo updates among others.

Several additional airlines and routes to and from Saudi Arabia are impacted, including Indian carriers suspending or adjusting services to Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam through October 24, and various Gulf and international carriers modifying schedules in response to the security situation. Passengers should check airline and airport status pages for the latest updates and possible rebooking arrangements.
