Houthi militants attacked Al-Rayyan International Airport in Yemen’s Hadramout province, according to Yemeni state media. Three strikes were reported to have hit the airport’s runway and electricity administration facilities in Mukalla, with no injuries mentioned.

Drones were also cited as the suspected weapons in the Al-Rayyan attack, as reported by the privately owned Al-Masdar Online. The Houthi militia had not issued a statement regarding the Al-Rayyan incident.

A separate claim from the Houthi militia involved a ballistic missile strike on Aden International Airport, reported by state-run Saba. Residents reported hearing a loud explosion near the airport, though details were not provided.

The Houthi claim identified the Aden strike target as “the Saudi operations room at the Badr camp,” according to a Telegram statement from the group’s spokesperson, Yahya Saree. Yemen TV reported air strikes on Houthi positions east of Mokha but did not give casualty details.

These developments occur amid ongoing government offensives against the Houthi militia in Yemen’s southwest, with the government saying it carried out numerous attacks over a 24-hour period and claiming significant neutralizations and equipment losses. The conflict has seen the militia control much of northern and western Yemen while government forces hold Aden and other southern and eastern areas.
