Embraer and Alliance Airlines have renewed their component support agreement for the Australian carrier’s fleet of Embraer E190s, the manufacturer announced in Singapore on October 22, 2026.
Under the agreement, Embraer will continue repairing components for Alliance’s E190s, which make up the largest fleet of the type in Australia. According to Embraer, the arrangement will provide the airline with a cost-effective way to keep its aircraft reliable while managing maintenance costs. Alliance has operated E190s since 2021.

Embraer says E-Jets have boosted regional connectivity in Australia
“Alliance Airlines’ E-Jets have been instrumental in enhancing Australia’s regional connectivity,” said Carlos Naufel, President and CEO of Embraer Services & Support. He added that Embraer would continue to provide the maintenance solutions and support the airline needs as it grows.
Alliance specializes in aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) leasing, as well as contract and charter flights. It operates more than 70 aircraft and serves the mining, energy and government sectors, along with providing wet-lease services to Qantas and Virgin Australia.
Australia is one of Embraer’s key markets in Asia-Pacific
Embraer delivered its first aircraft in Australia in 1978. Today, six Australian operators close fly nearly 70 E-Jets, serving regional routes and supporting fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) services that carry workers to mining and resources sites.
The Alliance renewal follows several other recent component support deals for Embraer’s services business, including agreements with Portugália Airlines and LATAM in October and a renewal with Japan Airlines in September.
