Air Canada will cancel these four U.S. routes starting next summer
Starting next summer, Air Canada will discontinue four routes to U.S. destinations.
Air Canada has confirmed plans to cancel four U.S. routes starting next summer, according to an email shared with CTVNews.ca.
The airline cited regular schedule reviews and alignment of capacity with customer demand as part of the decision, with a spokesperson noting travel patterns influence route changes.
Air Canada said it will continue to operate to Nashville, Raleigh-Durham and Seattle from other Canadian airports, but did not specify ongoing service to Charleston.
Separately, Air Canada announced new U.S. routes for 2027, including Toronto to Louisville and Montreal to Indianapolis, as well as Edmonton to Newark, in addition to plans to increase capacity between Edmonton and San Francisco.
In a joint effort with United Airlines, seasonal U.S.-to-Canada routes are planned for next summer, including Denver to Ottawa and Quebec City, seasonal service to St. John’s from Newark, expanded Washington, D.C. to Quebec City service, and further expansion between Denver and Winnipeg.
