Saudi Arabia flight cancellations: Which airlines are suspending services and until when?
UAE and other international services remain suspended despite airport reopening
Saudi Arabia’s air-transport network remains disrupted as regional tensions and attacks persist, with multiple carriers extending suspensions to key Saudi routes. Several international airlines have announced extended cancellations to Riyadh, Dammam, and nearby destinations, affecting both domestic and international travel via Saudi hubs.
Etihad Airways has canceled its Abu Dhabi–Riyadh, Dammam, and Jeddah services through November 5, with all Riyadh and Dammam flights impacted and four Jeddah services listed in the suspension. Emirates has suspended its flights to Riyadh, Dammam, and Jeddah through October 25, and has extended cancellations to Riyadh, Dammam, and Abha through October 29.
Air Arabia has paused operations to Riyadh, Abha, Dammam, and Taif from Sharjah, with no resumption date announced; Riyadh and Dammam services are limited up to October 24, while Jeddah services have been reduced. Oman Air has suspended all flights to and from Riyadh until October 31, and has canceled Riyadh and Dammam services through October 31.
Other carriers have announced continued suspensions or limited operations: Gulf Air states that post-October 18 flights are proceeding as scheduled after earlier Riyadh cancellations, while Air India and Air India Express have suspended Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam services through October 24 (Riyadh and Jeddah specifics vary). The Dutch, German, and Singaporean carriers report ongoing or extended suspensions to Saudi destinations as of late October, with several routes limited or paused into November and December.
