Lufthansa and Swiss have extended the suspension of their Dubai-bound services, delaying planned resumptions due to ongoing uncertainty in the Middle East. The extension affects flights between Dubai and several European cities, with Eurowings also withdrawing additional services from its schedule.

Swiss announced that Dubai services will remain suspended until November 25, 2026, instead of resuming on October 27 as previously planned. Lufthansa has likewise postponed its return to Dubai, targeting November 25 for restarting flights.

Passengers impacted by the extended suspension will be contacted directly and offered flexible booking options or a full refund, according to a Swiss press release issued on Friday. Swiss said the decision was taken in view of regional developments and will be reassessed as the situation evolves.

Eurowings has removed its Dubai connections from the timetable, and Lufthansa Group had planned to resume Dubai services on October 25, with Eurowings following on November 1. The shifts come after prior suspensions since March due to the Iran war and related regional instability.

The airline group emphasized that travelers should review the latest travel information before their journeys, with updates available online and via the SWISS App. Swiss said it would monitor conditions and reconsider plans as the regional situation changes.
