Donnie Wahlberg's Private Jet Fails to Lift Off and Slams Into a Fence With Eight People Aboard — The Morning After New Kids on the Block Closed Vegas Residency

Donnie Wahlberg was aboard a private Dassault Falcon 50 that failed to lift off from a Las Vegas airport over the weekend, according to RadarOnline.com. The plane skidded off the runway after the pilot aborted the takeoff, with eight passengers on board.

Wahlberg addressed the incident in an Instagram video, saying the pilots saved their lives and that God covered them. He indicated they had just finished praying and noted they were not getting up in the air that day but were safe.

He confirmed the aircraft ended up hitting a nearby fence, but the pilot avoided heavy airport vehicles or equipment. Wahlberg said he shared the video after informing family and friends that he was unharmed.

The actor described the episode as intense for him and his teammates, expressing gratitude to God and to the pilots who he credited with keeping them safe and preventing a serious disaster. He also thanked ground emergency personnel in Las Vegas.

The incident occurred the day after Wahlberg and New Kids on the Block completed their Las Vegas residency finale in the city. The National Transportation Safety Board said it had no information to share at this time.
