Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport has announced that flight operations will resume from its Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 on Sunday, October 25, 2026. Terminal 1 will handle domestic flights, while Terminal 2 will handle international flights operated by national carriers.

The airport published a passenger advisory urging travelers to confirm flight details with their airlines before heading to the airport, and to verify the status of their bookings for confirmed itineraries.

The advisory follows claims by Yemen's Houthi rebels that they targeted King Khalid International Airport along with other installations across Saudi Arabia. Houthi statements cited attacks on multiple sites including Riyadh, Yanbu, Dammam, Rabigh, and other aviation and energy facilities.

Some international services have been affected by the security situation, with Air India and Air India Express announcing suspensions to key destinations in Saudi Arabia and offering rebooking or refunds to affected passengers. Flights to and from Riyadh and Dammam were reported as suspended through early November, with Jeddah connections suspended through October 31, according to official advisories.
