Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is holding a competition to select a new voice for its public-address system, with the goal of reflecting a strong local identity through a Boston accent. The Voice of Logan contest was launched by the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) in September 2026 after passengers expressed a desire for more regionally recognizable announcements.

Nearly 6,000 people entered the contest, and eight finalists remain in the running. Public voting is open on a dedicated website until October 28.

The winner is scheduled to be announced on November 5. The competition is part of an effort to refresh airport communications by emphasizing local character in announcements.

The material also includes a personal note about Victoria, described as an avgeek, planespotter and digital nomad traveling globally to pursue unique aircraft, but this detail does not relate to the contest itself and is not expanded upon.
