Find out if UAE flight cancellations are easing. Get the latest updates on Dubai-Europe routes, Saudi travel, and regional flight disruptions.
UAE travellers may see more flight options in the coming weeks as airlines gradually restore services to Dubai, with up to 36 weekly flights between Dubai and Europe expected to return from late October through December 2026. Routes to Athens and Manila are also being restored, expanding options for international trips.
However, flight operations across the region remain fluid, with cancellations and delays continuing on several routes from Dubai and Abu Dhabi to Saudi Arabia and other destinations. Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport reopened on October 25 after a two-week closure, but many scheduled departures remained cancelled.
Etihad Airways, Emirates and Air Arabia have listed changes to various services, while flydubai reports a mix of scheduled, estimated and operating flights. Emirates’ codeshare operations with flydubai to and from Tel Aviv are affected, and Iran-UAE services remain suspended.
At Dubai and Abu Dhabi airports, several arrivals and departures were affected on October 26, with multiple cancellations or revised timings listed for flights from key destinations including Riyadh, Jeddah, Addis Ababa, Mumbai, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Lisbon, among others. Passengers are advised to check directly with their airlines or airport websites for the latest status.
In Saudi Arabia, nationwide disruption peaked mid-October with thousands of departures cancelled or not operated, and Riyadh faced the highest impact. Travelers should verify current flight status with their airline before heading to the airport, as schedules continue to change.
Air Arabia Abu Dhabi and Sharjah services were canceled on October 26 to destinations across the region and beyond, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Europe and Africa. Affected passengers should consult Air Arabia’s status page or customer service for rebooking or refunds.
