Air Canada relaunched nonstop Toronto–Santiago service on October 25, operating four weekly round-trips with a 298-seat Boeing 787-9, and the service runs through March 27, 2027.

The same day, United Airlines and Aeromexico resumed their Santiago connections, reactivating Houston–Santiago and Mexico City–Santiago routes that had been paused since late March, alongside Air Canada’s Toronto service.

Montreal–Santiago service returns Nov. 27 with four weekly flights on a 255-seat Boeing 787-8, running through March 26, 2027, marking a higher frequency than the initial 2025 season.

On the opening weekend, three nonstop North American routes to Santiago were active simultaneously: Air Canada Toronto–Santiago, United Houston–Santiago, and Aeromexico Mexico City–Santiago, with American Airlines expected to follow on Dec. 3 with Dallas/Fort Worth service.

Flight schedules show AC92/AC93 operating Toronto–Santiago with a roughly 10 hour 45 minute block; Montreal–Santiago flights AC52/AC53 run in the late afternoon to Santiago and back, supporting a broader Canada–Chile market now extended through late March.

Overall, the restart creates three nonstop gateway options to Santiago within a single weekend, expanding connectivity for Chilean travelers and Latin Americans routing through Toronto toward Europe or Canadian markets via Star Alliance.

Air Canada notes the season adds density at both gateway ends, with more than 5,000 seats added to the Chile–Canada market between now and late March, and the carrier remaining the sole nonstop link between Canada and Chile this season.
