WestJet pilot gets urgent message as passenger 'tries to bribe cabin crew'
A passenger on a WestJet flight from Mexico to Canada allegedly became verbally aggressive after a flight attendant refused to accept a bribe for a seat upgrade
A passenger on a WestJet flight to Toronto engaged in disruptive behavior after allegedly offering a cash bribe to a cabin crew member for an unauthorized upgrade. The incident occurred on WestJet Flight WS2555 on Sunday evening, with the aircraft traveling from Cancún, Mexico, to Toronto Pearson International Airport.
According to Air Live, a male passenger approached a flight attendant and proposed the upgrade in exchange for money. The crew member reportedly refused the offer and explained the airline’s upgrade policies, after which the passenger became agitated and verbally aggressive.
The cabin crew notified the captain about the passenger’s behavior. No diversion or further action was required, as the passenger eventually calmed down before landing.
