Air India and Air India Express have extended their suspension of flights to and from Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dammam in Saudi Arabia until November 14, the airlines announced on Friday. The move follows Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia and related security concerns.

Previously, flights to Riyadh and Dammam were halted until November 7, and services to Jeddah were suspended until October 31. The extended pause keeps these routes inactive through November 14.

Passengers with confirmed tickets issued on or before October 30 for travel up to November 14 can reschedule at no extra charge or cancel for a full refund. Rebooked trips must occur by November 29, subject to availability. Air India allows rebooking to or from any Saudi airport where flights remain operational; Air India Express allows rebooking to or from any Saudi or Bahrain airport served by the airline.

Contact channels for assistance include the airlines’ helplines and city booking offices. Air India’s numbers are +91 11 69329333 and +91 11 69329999, while Air India Express passengers can call +91 124 6935600.

Other carriers have also altered operations in the region, with Akasa Air suspending Jeddah until November 10 and Riyadh until November 30, and IndiGo canceling services to and from Jeddah, Dammam, and Madinah until November 14. The Houthi attacks are cited as the ongoing context for these disruptions.
