Middle East flights: KLM, Singapore Airlines and Air France extend suspensions
Carriers continue to adjust operations as regional tensions disrupt travel
KLM has adjusted its Middle East schedule to avoid Iran, Iraq and Israel airspace, while resuming services to Tel Aviv with layovers in Larnaca for crew rest. Some routes, such as Riyadh and Dammam, remain suspended until late November, and Dubai services are paused until March next year.
Singapore Airlines has extended the suspension of its Dubai service to February 28, 2027, and its Singapore–Jeddah low-cost Scoot services are paused until December 2, with options for refunds or rebooking available to affected customers.
Air France has resumed regular Tel Aviv and Beirut flights but extended the Dubai suspension to November 7 and paused Riyadh until December 12, with customers being contacted individually about options.
Lufthansa Group airlines have resumed Tel Aviv services but keep Dubai suspended until November 25, with similar flexibility offered for affected passengers, including rebooking or refunds.
Other carriers noted in the region, including AirBaltic and Cathay Pacific, have made regional adjustments with various suspensions and options for rebooking or refunds, driven by ongoing airspace restrictions and regional security considerations.
