MUFG has been named Aviation Finance House of the Year 2026 by Ishka Airfinance Journal, marking a top recognition for its global aviation finance capabilities. The award highlights MUFG’s activity and achievements within the aviation finance sector.
In addition, MUFG earned Americas Bank of the Year 2026 from Airline Economics, further recognizing its strong position in the North and South American aviation finance markets. The accolade complements other acknowledgments the bank received for its capital markets, structured finance, and supported finance work.
The announcements came from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), described as one of the world’s largest global financial groups, and emphasize the accomplishments of its Global Aviation team during the period assessed by the awarding bodies.
MUFG notes that its Global Aviation team also earned multiple transaction awards, reflecting recognition across various financing disciplines and landmark transactions within the aviation sector.
