Air Canada will resume direct flights between Toronto and Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport at the end of November, with four weekly round trips.

The service reboot comes after a suspension dating from March, tied to the war with Iran, and moves the route earlier than previously announced (the earlier plan had suggested a January 17, 2027 restart).

A December 2026 economy-class round-trip from Tel Aviv to Toronto via Air Canada is priced at an average of $1,155, about 30% higher than December 2025 levels, according to lastminute.co.il.

Connecting itineraries remain on offer and can be cheaper, with some layovers reducing the fare by up to 16% versus the direct option, while business-class fares to Canada can be significantly higher, with potential savings of up to around $2,900 by choosing a connecting flight.

Data from lastminute.co.il indicates that Air Canada still competes with other carriers on related routes, where British Airways and Lufthansa offer lower average fares for similar itineraries, though Air Canada remains the sole direct option between Tel Aviv and Toronto.
