Joby Aviation is reporting its third-quarter results as it presses to scale production to meet rising demand, according to BigGo Finance.
CEO JoeBen Bevirt has stated that there is "far more demand for aircraft" than the company can currently build, highlighting ongoing production challenges in delivering aircraft at scale.
CFO Rodrigo Brumana noted regional demand potential, suggesting that Texas, Florida and New York alone could absorb output for some time.
Analysts are projecting roughly $40.42 million in revenue for the quarter with an expected loss of $0.25 per share, as investors watch how production ramp capabilities affect the results.
The article also mentions that Cathie Wood's ARK Invest purchased nearly $11 million of Joby stock last month across two ETFs, while shares have declined more than 60% year-to-date and the stock carries a Hold consensus with a mean price target around $10.06.
