A shipment of updates from India News Network confirms that the death toll from the October 10 attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh has risen to 14, with two of the deceased being Indian nationals.

The Indian Embassy in Riyadh stated that the two Indian nationals who died had been in intensive care after sustaining injuries during the attack. The embassy is arranging options for repatriation of the deceased or a funeral in Riyadh per family preference.

The attack is attributed to the Iran-backed Houthi militia, and it reportedly left 309 people injured. Initial reporting had 12 fatalities, which later increased to 14 with the passing of the two Indian nationals.

Ambassador Vipul of India to Saudi Arabia expressed condolences for the loss of the Indian national Shaikh Sayeed, noting he struggled with injuries for more than three weeks before passing away.

The embassy noted that other Indian nationals remain in hospital or in stable condition, with one in the intensive care unit and another in a regular ward, as authorities monitor their conditions closely.
